About the Position
Allied Travel Careers  is working with Acruex Health to find a qualified Physical Therapist (PT) in Brattleboro, Vermont, 05301!

* Pay Rate: $41.00- $45.00/hourly.

Summary:

The Physical Therapist is responsible for the evaluation of patient’s physical condition and needs, and the design and implementation of a corrective treatment plan according to the principles and practice of physical therapy. This includes continuous assessment of the patient’s progress and modifi cation of the plan and goals as necessary, collaborative consultation with other health care professionals and maintenance of accurate and timely medical and business records.

The physical therapist has supervisory responsibilities over the clinical activities of P.T. assistant and at least one affi liating student per year. Participation in departmental quality improvement activities, community outreach and program development is also required.

Responsibilities:

Consulting with patients to learn about their physical condition.

Assessing and interpreting patient evaluations and test results.

Developing treatment plans using a variety of treatment techniques.

Creating personalized fitness-oriented health care programs for patients.

Administering medically prescribed physical therapy treatments to relieve pain and improve mobility.

Advising patients on exercise techniques.

Requirements
Requirements:

Graduate of accredited P.T. program Preferred.

Previous experience in acute care Preferred. (entry level is acceptable)

State of Vermont license Required (temporary license acceptable on entry).

CPR certification Required.

At least 2 recent supervisory references Required.

BLS Certification.
