Overview

As a Behavior Technician at BCI, you’ll help children with autism learn, grow, and build communication, socialization, and self-help skills through applied behavior analysis (ABA) in play-based therapy.
BCI has provided evidence-based, contemporary ABA therapy for over 20 years. LEARN Behavioral is a collective group of ABA providers dedicated to delivering collaborative care and nurturing the unique potential of children with autism and special needs in communities from coast-to-coast. This position offers opportunities to learn new skills and advance professionally.
Responsibilities- Provide ABA-based therapy to children with autism in home or center settings.
- Help children develop communication, socialization, and self-help skills through play-based activities.
- Learn about autism, learning differences, and ABA to support client progress.
- Collaborate with the supervisory team and families to support treatment goals.
- Meet minimum age and work eligibility requirements and maintain a consistent weekly schedule when assigned.
- Education:
High School Diploma or GED. - Transportation:
Reliable transportation; valid driver’s license and personal vehicle preferred. - Schedule:
Part-time (M-F 3pm-7pm) or Full-time (8am-6pm or 9am-7pm); availability to work mornings, afternoons, and/or evenings. - Earn starting pay at $22/hr and up with experience; become eligible to earn RBT certification.
- Meet the minimum age requirement of 18 and eligibility to work in the United States.
- Pass a background check.
- Bi-lingual English/Spanish and coursework in psychology, education, or related fields are a plus.
- Experience with children (e.g., babysitter, nanny, tutor, teacher, coach, camp counselor, etc.) is a plus.
- Interest in pursuing a career in behavior analysis, behavioral health, teaching, or related fields.
- Paid time off (PTO):
Up to 15 days for full-time employees after 90 days of employment. - Sick leave:
Available for part-time employees. - Physical requirements vary by client; may involve physical activities such as pushing, pulling, lifting up to 35 pounds, and being able to sit on the floor, stoop, stand, walk, and run as needed.
