Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist with ARRT or ARMRIT certification, BLS, and recent Epic and Philips MRI experience for a flexible schedule assignment.
Responsibilities- Assignment up to 32 weeks in a teaching hospital environment
- Primarily MRI imaging duties with no on-call requirement
- Schedule includes 1-2 weekends per month with flexibility required for shifts
- Workdays may include any day Monday through Sunday
- Experience with Philips MRI equipment is required; strong candidates with other equipment will be considered
- Use of Epic EMR is required and must have been used within the past 2 years
- Bi-weekly orientations occur on Mondays
- Absence of block scheduling, flexibility for coverage is necessary
- All employment gaps over 90 days must be explained for consideration
- Complete work history details are required for application
- Religious or medical exemption documentation must be provided if needed
- Submission is limited to one application at a time system-wide
- Current BLS certification required
- ARRT or ARMRIT certification with advanced MRI licensure required
- Minimum of 1 year MRI tech experience required
- Prior teaching hospital experience required
- Epic EMR experience required within the past 2 years
- Prior travel assignment experience preferred
- License required if applicable
- Reliable transportation is required, as public transportation is not available in the area
- Vehicles must be equipped with all-season or snow tires from November through April
