Nuclear Medicine Technologist Position
UVM Medical Center in Burlington, VT is looking for an exceptional Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join a patient‑centered team that values collaboration, excellence, and continuous learning.
Job Description- Performs both clinical and research nuclear medicine testing and therapeutic procedures, including general studies, cardiac studies, and associated computer interactions.
- Provides clinical instruction for nuclear medicine students and other personnel as needed.
- Contributes to the development of policies, procedures, standards and objectives for quality assurance in Nuclear Medicine services.
- Works Monday–Friday 9:00 am–5:30 pm; no weekends except for scheduled call coverage.
- Required to take rotating call coverage every 12 days. Call hours are 24 hours for weekend calls (7 am Saturday–7 am Sunday) or 14 hours for weeknight calls (5 pm–7 am). Call pay includes pager, overtime and shift differentials.
- Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine program.
- Associate’s or Baccalaureate degree in Nuclear Medicine.
- Licensed by ARRT or CNMT in the State of Vermont.
- Must provide a copy of the college transcript when invited for interview.
Twelve months of clinical experience in Nuclear Medicine preferred, but new graduates and those new to the field are welcome to apply.

Sign‑On Bonus & Relocation EligibilityExternal candidates not active within the network in the past year may receive a hiring bonus of $10,000–$15,000 (gross pay before tax). Relocation assistance up to $6,000 is available for candidates relocating more than 120 miles.
