Description
Corewell Health Children's seeks a BE/BC Adolescent Medicine physician to join Corewell Health Hough Center for Adolescent Health. The practice has a longstanding history of excellence in the community putting patients' safety and satisfaction at the forefront. Children s Hospital is looking for an Adolescent Medicine Physician to provide care for adolescent and young medicine including primary care and prevention, mental health, reproductive health, eating disorders, and substance use disorder.
Patient care will be done in an outpatient setting. Corewell Health Hough Center for Adolescent Health specializes in eating disorders with specialty care for adolescents facing a variety of concerns. The eating disorder program addresses medical and psychological management related to known or suspected eating disorders. Our team is composed of one Physician, two APPs, and a social worker with knowledgeable multi-disciplinary approach assisting in day-to-day operations and takes advantage of the resources and referral base of the Corewell Health Children s system.
We are actively recruiting additional team members including an adolescent psychiatrist/psychologist.
- Provide outpatient care for adolescents and young people including primary care and prevention, mental health, reproductive health, eating disorders, and substance use disorder.
- Work with the eating disorders program and a multidisciplinary team.
- Collaborate with a team consisting of physicians, APPs, and social worker to support day-to-day operations.
- Participate in faculty advisory appointments and medical education opportunities teaching medical students and residents.

- Engage in an expanding division with opportunities to establish an independent focus.

- Interest in teaching and supervision of medical students, residents and fellows
- Unrestricted License and DEA - Michigan MD/DO
