The Sales Manager leads a team of Sales Associates to deliver exceptional customer experience and achieve dealership performance goals. Hands‑on leadership, team development, and full ownership of the sales process – from customer engagement to deal structure and inventory planning – are essential.
Collaborate closely with the General Manager to increase market share, optimize gross profit, and build a culture of excellence.

- Skilled in setting goals, tracking performance, and ensuring a high Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI).
- Reliable, adaptable, and driven by results.
- Lead and inspire the sales team to achieve monthly sales, profit, and CSI goals.
- Recruit, train, coach, and retain top‑performing Sales Associates.
- Actively engage in daily operations, including desking deals and appraising trades.
- Oversee customer negotiation and ensure clear communication of purchase options and pricing.
- Collaborate with leadership to plan and manage new and used vehicle inventory.
- Analyze sales data to identify trends, shortfalls, and opportunities for improvement.
- Manage controllable expenses and support dealership profitability goals.
- Achieve targeted unit sales and gross profit.
- Maintain strong customer satisfaction and team retention metrics.
- Demonstrate leadership aligned with Berlin City Auto Group’s mission and values.
- Minimum 2 years of automotive retail sales or management experience.
- Strong computer and CRM proficiency.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Must be 18 years or older and able to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Authorization to work in the U.S.
