Executive Assistant – Dean’s Office
Provide general administrative functions in support of the Dean and Dean’s Office activities, which may include communicating with internal and external stakeholders, preparing documents and reports, compiling records, scheduling meetings, organizing and maintaining information, coordinating calendars, composing correspondence and other documents, and analyzing data. Serve as the Dean’s primary liaison with central administration, University offices and other Dean’s offices across campus, and external constituents, including the UVM Foundation.
Exercise discretion in use and disclosure of highly sensitive, confidential and/or time‑dependent materials.
- Associate’s degree in Business or related field and three to five years of related experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat software.
- Proficiency with word‑processing applications, including complex formulas, pivot tables, editing and proofreading.
- Effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- High attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
- Ability to effectively perform duties within a deadline‑driven environment, with frequently changing customer demands.
- Experience supporting Dean/VP level positions.
- Experience using Digital Measures software.
$52,000 - $58,000.
Special Conditions- Probationary period may be required for current UVM employees.
- Occasional evening and/or weekend work required (if non‑exempt position, may result in overtime).
- Background check required for this position.
