Travel RN - Med​/Surg Tele

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring Epic proficiency and remote telemetry monitoring experience, with floating required across multiple campuses.

Job Details

• Med/Surg Telemetry unit within a hospital setting,

• Patient population is primarily Med/Surg on a tele-capable unit,

• Patient ratio is 1:5-6,

• Remote telemetry monitoring experience is required,

• Schedule is 3x12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM,

• Every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH) required,

• Floating to all system campuses as needed for patient care,

• Epic EMR experience is required,

Job Requirements

• Active NC or Compact RN license required,

• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred,

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required,

• Epic EMR proficiency required,

• Remote telemetry monitoring experience required,

• Charge RN experience preferred,

• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates,

• Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration,

• Copy of driver's license required for consideration,

Additional Information

• All RNs must pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam during compliance, with two attempts allowed - candidates should prepare in advance as study materials are not provided by the facility,

• Zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences,
