Job Overview
Authora Care Collective is seeking an RN/LPN to work part‑time every Friday from 5:30 pm to 10:30 pm in our After‑Hours department supporting the Burlington service area.
Shift Details: Part‑time, Fridays 5:30 pm–10:30 pm.
Required Certification: CPR certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS).
Job SummaryAssume responsibility for assessing and identifying patient/caregiver problems, establishing nursing patient/caregiver care goals, and implementing interventions for all agency programs. Document outcomes of care. Work with physicians to establish and implement a medical plan of care for the patient. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team and communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, physicians, pharmacists, and other health‑care professionals and community service organizations. Build and maintain a therapeutic relationship with patients/caregivers, providing emotional support and education.
Requirements- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Licensed as an RN or LPN in North Carolina and in good standing with NCBON.
- One year of experience in an acute, hospice, home‑health, or long‑term care setting.
- CPR certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Valid state‑issued driver’s license. Must carry automobile liability insurance at limits required by the agency. Must have own transportation.
