Job Details:

• Work three 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM

• Every other weekend schedule with holidays as needed

• Float required - all travelers subject to float between ALL Cone Health facilities

• Minimum 2 years of experience required (first time travelers accepted)

• Patient ratio experience required at 1:5-6

• Required certifications: BLS, NIH

• EPIC experience required

• Telemetry remote monitoring experience required, on-unit monitoring preferred

• Must pass EKG exam during compliance (Pass/Fail requirement with 2 attempts allowed)

Skills required:

feeding tube care and management, accessing ports, blood product administration, central line care/management, peripheral line care/management, PICC line management, starting IVs

• Additional skills: CVA care, nasal cannula, isolation precautions, wound care/wound vac

• Care for inpatient department with variety of patients with multiple co-morbidities

• Specialized care for stroke (neuro) patient population

• Zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences

• Compliance deadline: 12 noon EST the Wednesday prior to start date

• Non-billable modules averaging 2-4 hours completed during orientation
