PURPOSETo oversee the assembly operations to ensure the highest standards of quality and efficiency are maintained.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES- Must be comfortable with a mix of PC and Microsoft Excel based work.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced production environment.
- Able to perform light physical labor (inventory, assembly, testing).
- Prior experience leading a team preferred.
- Knowledgeable of UL508a and NEC standards.
- Responsible for conducting annual performance reviews on staff.
- Recommend salary changes, and hiring and termination of staff.
- Inform staff of changes in policies and procedures.
- Responsible for training of staff.
- Responsible for directing the daily work of staff.
- Position must demonstrate positive leadership. This may be accomplished in a variety of ways including but not limited to professional behavior/appearance, work ethic and attendance.
- Lifting and Carrying:
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. - Standing, Sitting & Walking:
Must be able to stand, sit and/or walk for extended periods. - Climbing and Balancing:
Ability to climb stairs and ladders and maintain balance on uneven surfaces. - Stooping, Kneeling, and Crouching:
Required to stoop, kneel, and crouch frequently. - Manual Dexterity:
Ability to use hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls. - Visual and Auditory Requirements:
Must have the ability to read computer screens and printed documents, and hear within normal ranges, with or without corrective devices. - Operating Machinery:
Experience and ability to operate machinery. - Environmental Conditions:
Ability to work in various environmental conditions, such as hot, cold, or noisy environments.
