RN - Orthopedics

• Work 3x12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend coverage required (Saturday and Sunday)
• No call responsibilities
• Float required as needed to other units
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• Previous travel experience required
• Charge RN experience required
• BLS certification required
• EPIC charting system experience required
• Must pass EKG exam during compliance (2 attempts allowed)
• Patient ratio experience of 5-6 patients
• 24 hours of orientation provided
• Zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
• Care for adult and geriatric orthopedic patients as well as medical surgical patients
• Work with telemetry monitoring and various orthopedic equipment including CPMs and Buck s Traction
• Handle patients with total joint replacements, fracture repairs, kyphoplasties, and other surgical procedures
• May accommodate ED patients with high acuity
• Must be flexible with scheduling and able to float to any campus if needed
