• Prepare patients for examinations by obtaining vital signs and thorough health histories
• Assist physicians during examinations and procedures by ensuring necessary instruments and equipment are prepared
• Conduct basic laboratory tests and manage the processing of specimens for analysis
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, adhering to HIPAA regulations
• Assist in scheduling appointments and managing office communications to streamline workflows
• Educate patients about their treatment plans, medication use, and effective skincare practices
• Ensure examination rooms are clean, organized, and adequately stocked with supplies
• May participate in supporting the clinic's social media presence, including gathering content, sharing clinic-approved updates, and assisting with community engagement efforts as directed

• High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a Medical Assistant is preferred
• Previous experience as a Medical Assistant or in a clinical environment is strongly desired
• Knowledge of medical terminology, especially in dermatology
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective patient interaction
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with care
• Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
• Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems and standard office software is advantageous
