BLS required. EKG exam required for all RNs regardless of specialty.

Must-Have:
- Charge RN experience
- Epic charting system experience

Description:

The unit provides care for orthopedic patients, as well as medical surgical patients.
Patient populations include individuals who have had total joint replacements, fracture repairs, and kyphoplasties.
The unit also accommodates patients with various surgical and medical needs.
Telemetry monitoring is available for patients requiring close observation.
Physical therapy services are provided on-site, allowing patients to receive therapy without leaving the unit.
Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, social services, and pharmacy.
Staffing requires flexibility as the role may involve floating to other units as needed.
Candidates must be aware of and comply with the zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences.
Travelers are allowed two attempts to pass the EKG exam during compliance.
Modules related to orientation are non-billable and unit-based.
Candidates should prepare adequately for the EKG exam; study materials are not provided.
Compliance files must be complete before the established deadline.
