Job TitleReturns Evaluator
Job OverviewThe Returns Evaluator performs necessary steps to fulfill the customer’s return in accordance with the company’s return and exchange policies. Depending on the item’s condition and reason for return, the item is forwarded to different departments to be resold, returned to vendor, etc.
Responsibilities- Reviews customer communications (i.e. RMA letter, C/S notes) to determine customer’s needs.
- Examines returned merchandise to determine condition and checks for accessories.
- Determines the placement of the merchandise (i.e. stock, returned to vendor, used, back to customer)
- Processes refund, credit, restocking fee, etc. based on B&H policies.
- Creates new order if exchange is requested.
- Repacks merchandise to new condition, if recategorized as new
- As assigned by the manager
Skills and Abilities
• Organized and detailed oriented
• Knowledge of computer system (UNIX, web, email, excel)
- Minimum 2 years experience in a Warehouse
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience troubleshooting computers and cell phones is preferred but not required
- Must be able to lift 50lbs independently and up to 80lbs with assistance.
- Extended periods of standing/walking
Monday-Thursday 9am-6pm, Friday 9am-2:30pm
