Contract: Pay Rate: DOE
Schedule: Monday – Thursday 9 am-6 pm / Friday 9 am – 2 pm (summer) 9 am – 1 pm (winter)
Job OverviewWe are seeking an experienced and detail‑driven Technical Evaluator to inspect and diagnose returned camera and imaging equipment under warranty. In this role, you will evaluate DSLR, mirrorless, cinema, and related optical products to determine faults, perform repairs, or process replacements according to company warranty standards.
Qualifications- High diploma, GED or equivalent.
- Experience repairing or evaluating cameras (Canon, Sony, Nikon, Fujifilm, Panasonic, etc.).
- Certification or training in electronics, optics, or camera service.
- Familiarity with ERP/warranty processing systems.
- Knowledge of root‑cause failure analysis and quality reporting.
- Ability to quickly determine or analyze problem(s) and report on findings, with explanations and photographs, etc.
- Customer care skills.
- Analytical thinking and abilities.
- Report‑writing and document‑analysis skills.
- Proficient in MS Office.
