Director, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

The Director of FP&A is a strategic finance leader responsible for driving company-wide financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and performance management. This role will report directly to the CFO and will partner closely with Executive Leadership and cross‑functional teams to provide clear, actionable insights into business performance, guide decision‑making, and support long‑term growth initiatives. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical rigor, deep systems expertise (Net Suite, Adaptive Planning), and the ability to build scalable financial models while leading and developing a high‑performing FP&A function.

What You Will Be Responsible For:
  • Lead the preparation and delivery of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting packages for the Executive Leadership Team and Board of Directors.
  • Own the company’s forecasting, budgeting, and long‑range planning processes, including the Annual Operating Plan and multi‑year strategic models.
  • Drive the monthly and quarterly close support process, ensuring accurate results, clear variance analysis, and timely communication of risks and opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain robust financial models to support forecasting, scenario analysis, compensation planning, and strategic initiatives.
  • Serve as a systems leader for FP&A, with hands‑on expertise in Net Suite and Adaptive Planning, ensuring data integrity, efficient workflows, and scalable reporting structures.
  • Partner with department leaders to provide financial guidance, performance tracking, and decision support across the organization.
  • Support procurement‑related analysis (a plus), including vendor spend, cost optimization opportunities, and contract‑related financial modeling.
  • Identify, communicate, and proactively manage financial risks and opportunities tied to business performance.
  • Lead cross‑functional initiatives to improve financial processes, reporting automation, and operational efficiency. Own and drive a variety of shouldering initiatives critical to the success of the business.
  • Respond to ad hoc analytical requests, including vendor‑level, headcount, and profitability analysis.
  • Mentor and develop FP&A team members, setting best practices for analysis, modeling, and stakeholder communication.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or related roles, with leadership responsibility.
  • Advanced financial modeling skills.
  • Strong experience with Net Suite and Workday Adaptive Planning (or similar planning tools).
  • Proven ability to translate complex financial data into clear insights for executive and non‑financial stakeholders.
  • Procurement or vendor spend analysis experience is a plus.
  • Advanced technical skills in modern FP&A tools and methodologies, our current stack includes Net Suite, Adaptive Planning, Looker, and Office 365.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast‑paced, evolving environment while balancing strategic and hands‑on responsibilities.
