Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic, motivated and talented individuals to work as seasonal supervisors for Black Rocket technology camps. This is a summer seasonal position; you are expected to work the entire summer following the local school district summer break schedule. Training is provided, and compensation is $25/hr - $30/hr.
We strongly encourage those who have completed or are working toward supervisor or principal certification to apply. This role involves supervising instructors, interacting with students, parents, and program directors, and coordinating across multiple sites within your region.
Responsibilities- Supervise instructors and interact with students, parents, and program directors.
- Manage schedules or events and oversee adult staff.
- Provide feedback to and evaluate teachers of all levels.
- Communicate effectively, maintain organization, and ensure smooth operation of camps across sites.
- Experience managing adults in a school or after-school setting.
- Experience managing schedules or planning events.
- 3+ years of K-12 school experience.
- Comfortable with a range of technology (video editing, digital arts, coding, game development, gaming, robotics, or similar) — ideal but not required.
- Comfortable traveling to multiple sites within your region throughout the day.
- Knowledge of effective instructional practices.
- Comfortable giving feedback to and evaluating teachers of all levels.
- Available to commit to the whole summer season.
- Limited evening meetings in May prior to the start of summer.
- One weekend face-to-face meeting.
- Training online at your own pace starting in May.

Rate: $25/hr - $30/hr paid tolls; partial mileage reimbursement for all travel is available.

We begin recruiting for summer in January and positions are filled on a rolling basis.
