Overview
Position: Aquatics Assistant Swim Team Coach. You will work in a fast-paced environment supporting our Swim Team members, helping them improve swimming in state-of-the-art recreational and lap pools, both indoors and outdoors. You will collaborate with the Head Swim Team Coach to write and lead Swim Team Group Workouts, assist with registering new participants, and help maintain cleanliness and order of the Aquatics Facilities.
Responsibilities- Offer competitive swimmers the opportunity to master technique
- Run daily practices under the direction of the head coach
- Promote Life Time products, services and programs
- Assist with registering new participants for the Team
- Maintain the cleanliness and order of Aquatics Facilities
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1 year of swim coaching experience
- Member of ASCA
- Member of USA Swimming
- CPR/AED certification required
- Lifeguard Certification within 60 days of hire
- Must complete all job specific requirements with Life Time Education
- Ability to work in a stationary position and move about the club for prolonged periods of time
- Ability to communicate and exchange information with guests who have inquiries about Life Time products and services
- Ability to swim 25 yards/meters without stopping
- Ability to routinely bend to raise 20 lbs or less and occasionally bend to raise more than 20 lbs
- ASCA Level 1 Certification or higher
This is an hourly position with wages starting at $16.00 and paying up to $19.00, based on experience and qualifications.
