* Job Duties:

*** Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs for multinational computational software company.
* Analyze user needs and develop software solutions, applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis.
* Analyze information to determine, recommend, and plan installation of a new system or modification of an existing system.
* Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of a design within time and cost constraints.
* Confer with systems analysts, engineers, programmers and others to design systems and to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements, and interfaces.
* Consult with customers or other departments on project status, proposals, or technical issues, such as software system design or maintenance.
* Coordinate installation of software system.
* Prepare reports or correspondence concerning project specifications, activities, or status.
* Store, retrieve, and manipulate data for analysis of system capabilities and requirements.
* Train users to use new or modified equipment.
* Demonstrate computer software product to existing customers, sales prospects, and internal colleagues.
* Validate new software product features and provide feedback to software developers.
* Work with Product Management to author Product Requirement Specification for new features.
* Work with customers to explain and answer questions related to software features.
* Document new software features within User Guides, Support Articles, and FAQs.
* Some telecommuting permitted.

* Qualifications:

*** Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field.
* Minimum two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.
* Utilize system capture and Allegro PCB to support customers and develop documentation
* Utilize TCL/TK to enhance software functionality
* Utilize Python program language for task automation
* AI technologies and Machine Learning, specifically related to predictive analytics
* Proficiency in Agile SDLC methodologies and ability to track sprint development in JIRAThe annual salary range for Massachusetts is $131,082 to $182,000. You may also be eligible to receive incentive compensation: bonus, equity, and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation may vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
