Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

Position Overview:
Seeking an experienced Nurse Manager for a Neuro ICU (NCCU) assignment. Neuro specialty experience is not required; strong nurse management experience is essential. The Nurse Manager oversees daily staffing and scheduling, supports clinical operations, and ensures high-quality patient care delivery. Staff utilize self-scheduling with final schedules completed by the Nurse Manager.

The Nurse Manager may float to ICUs, PCU, and Med-Surg units as needed.

Unit Details:

• ICU ratios: 1:2

• PCU ratios: 1:3

• Patient population includes neuro-intensive care cases such as stroke, thrombectomy, EVS, neurosurgical cases, and EVDS.

Required Qualifications:

• Active Massachusetts RN license

• BLS and ACLS (AHA)

• Epic EMR experience

• Prior Nurse Manager experience

• Ability to float across ICU, PCU, and Med-Surg units

Unit Procedures and Skills:

• Patient transports to MRI and CT

• Arterial lines, venipuncture

• EVD placement and management

• Post-operative craniotomy care

• Post-TNK documentation

• Intubation and extubation

• High-flow nasal cannula

• EKG monitoring

• Central line placement and IV insertion

• Post-stroke care, including mobilization with Sara Combilizer
