Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical-Surgical Telemetry position in a float pool setting, requiring an active MA RN license and night shift availability.
Responsibilities- Work in the Nursing Float Pool with assignments to various Med-Surg Telemetry units
- 12-hour night shifts are required
- Assignment length is 8 weeks
- No on-call responsibilities mentioned
- Patient population and unit specifics vary based on float assignments
- Will float between multiple Med-Surg Tele units as assigned
- Must pass Telemetry/ECG and medication administration tests if assignment is at Milton or Plymouth campus
- Parking at some locations may have daily fees
- RTO (Requested Time Off) must be submitted with application
- Medical exemption may be considered for vaccination requirements
- Active MA RN license in hand is required for consideration
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification may be required for telemetry
- Applicants must live more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not eligible
- Compliance with COVID-19 vaccine and booster, and flu vaccine requirements (medical exemptions accepted)
- 6-month break required for any past employees or travelers before returning to this health system
