As an NP or PA, you will play a crucial role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients in critical care and neurology settings. • Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations
• Develop and implement individualized care plans
• Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams
• Provide education and support to patients and their families
• Document patient care activities and maintain accurate records
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives
• Stay current with advancements in critical care and neurology practices

• Associate's degree in Nursing or relevant field
• Current NP or PA certification and state licensure
• Experience in critical care and neurology settings preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team‑oriented environment
• Proficient in electronic medical record (EMR) systems
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and education
• Level I Trauma

Schedule:

3x 13‑hour shifts per week

Rotate days, nights, weekends, and holidays

9‑bed Neurosciences Critical Care Unit, expanding to 12 beds

Duties:
Patient history and physical exams, developing and executing diagnostic and treatment plans, interpreting lab work, imaging, and physiological data, and procedures

Required Procedures:
Central and arterial line placements

Team Structure: 5 neurointensivists and 10 APPs

Experience:

1+ years in critical care, ICU, or neurology

EMR:
Epic

Must be board-certified
