INVENTORY SPECIALIST - 1st Shift BoylstonSummary: Under direct supervision from the Inventory Supervisor, performs inventory related tasks to maintain an accurate perpetual inventory while providing support to the Warehouse, WIP and Production.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Research and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
- Assist in the End of Month Physical Counts.
- Utilize MAS
500 ERP system to make necessary inventory adjustments. - Understand and can complete all warehouse transactions that have a direct affect to inventory.
- Receiving
- Shipping
- Customer Returns
- Bin Transfers
- Physical Counts
- Manufacturing
- Perform inventory lookups via MAS
500 or RF. - Understand and can complete all necessary tasks within DCSC Warehouse Automation.
- Communicate errors for areas of training opportunities or process improvements.
- Complete the ECO (Use As Is) process.
- All other duties assigned.
Qualifications:

Language Ability: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Math Ability: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer
Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of spreadsheet software and database software.
Education/
Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
