Principal Consultant - QA - Boston

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced QA Lead who works efficiently to deliver functional and automation testing for our customers in the Investment Banking / Capital Markets.

Location:

Boston, MA, to work at our Client site.

No Visa sponsorship available for this role now or in the future.

• Strategy & Planning:
  Define testing strategies, objectives, and project-specific test plans.
• Test Execution:
  Oversee manual and automated testing processes, ensuring adherence to schedules.
• Team Leadership:
  Delegate tasks, provide guidance, and mentor junior QA team members.
• Defect Management:
  Track bugs, prioritize issues, and collaborate with developers for resolution.
• Reporting:
  Analyze metrics and report on test coverage, quality, and project progress to stakeholders.
• Process Improvement:
  Identify bottlenecks, improve test automation frameworks, and maintain high standards.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering (or equivalent experience).
• 8–12+ years QA/testing experience with 3–6+ years in test leadership/management.
• Strong hands‑on experience delivering functional testing and automation for complex, data‑heavy enterprise applications.
• Proven capability to manage multiple work streams and dependencies across integrated systems.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate quality risks into business impact.
• Coordination with various stakeholders.
• Good experience with Functional and UAT testing practices.
• Domain expertise in Investment Banking / Capital Markets.

US:
Hiring Range in USD from: $71,200 - $158,200 per year. May be eligible for bonus and equity. Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business. Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

• Paid time off:
  Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non‑overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment.
  
  Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
