is a fully remote position located in the United States. About the Manager Infrastructure Engineering role:

The Manager Infrastructure Engineering leads a team responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the organization's core IT systems, including patching, internal IT, and Virtual Desktops. This role ensures scalability, security, and reliability while driving strategy, project delivery, and engineering excellence. The Manager Infrastructure Engineering also mentors technical staff and collaborates with stakeholders to align infrastructure initiatives with business goals.

What you'll do as a Manager Infrastructure Engineering:
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the Infrastructure Engineering team, fostering a culture of collaboration, professional growth, high performance, and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee the deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting of virtual servers and virtual desktops, along with related infrastructure components.
  • Establish and maintain KPIs and metrics to assess infrastructure health, performance, capacity, and service delivery; regularly report status, risks, and improvements to executive leadership.
  • Develop and enforce best practices for configuring, installing, supporting, and maintaining critical software systems.
  • Manage capacity planning, monitoring, and system expansion to ensure scalability and reliability.
  • Ensure all OS, and firmware installations and upgrades follow established processes and quality standards.
  • Oversee monitoring and alerting frameworks, ensuring timely response to incidents and high confidence in system observability.
  • Implement and maintain security controls, patching standards, and compliance practices aligned with organizational policies and industry frameworks (e.g., SOC 2, GDPR).
  • Collaborate with the security team to proactively enhance infrastructure security and maintain a strong security posture.
  • Partner with other engineering and support leaders to resolve system-wide issues within SLA commitments and support service delivery goals.
  • Ensure IT projects and new build requests are completed on time, within budget, and in alignment with SLAs and operational expectations.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date technical documentation; ensure new processes and best practices are documented and integrated into team training.
  • Communicate complex infrastructure concepts to senior leadership in a clear, business-focused manner; engage effectively with stakeholders across the organization.
  • Promote a culture of operational excellence, timely execution, attention to detail, and continuous refinement of infrastructure systems and processes.
  • Act as an escalation for on call personnel.
Requirements What you'll need to be a successful Manager Infrastructure Engineering:
  • 6+ years of hands-on infrastructure engineering experience supporting enterprise-scale environments.
