Job title: Epic Cogito/Cosmos:
Business Intelligence Developer (Open)

Hours: 40 hours per week;
Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM

Location: 100% Remote

This position will be working with Epic Cogito and Cosmsos data models. You will also utilize Power

BI to create reports, etc.

This position supports enterprise Business Intelligence in the deployment of enterprise-wide Business Intelligence solutions that are cross-functional and of mid-level complexity. Performs requirements analysis, designs, develops, deploys, supports and maintains reporting and analytical or business intelligence applications using a variety of data sources to support enterprise objectives. Responsible for collaborating with team members to develop and design BI Reports and analytics initiatives for end users.

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology.
• Two (2) years of healthcare IT experience.

• Four (4) years of healthcare IT experience.

• Builds solutions on enterprise data warehouse systems.
• Contributes to team projects, with the objective of becoming more technically proficient.
• Provides technical assistance for data warehouse systems content and initiatives.
• Acts as an escalation path for any enterprise analytics and reporting concerns.
• Works with teammates to plan proactively for new data warehouse systems features that would improve the state of the enterprise analytics program.
• Shares best practices based on lessons learned at other organizations.
• Maintains existing policy and procedures for code reuse, documentation, and testing.
• Writes design documentation, and functional requirements and specifications with guidance.
• Works collaboratively with others in meeting user expectations and team deadlines.
• Writes medium-to-complex code.
• Participates in test case scenarios and support.
• Participates in some after-hours on call support, to troubleshoot and resolve system issues escalated by the Help Desk.
• With managerial oversight, leads smaller and/or less complex initiatives and projects.
• Builds enhancements to current database and warehouses using appropriate programming language and/or technical tools.
• Participates in detailed testing of report databases, data marts, views and warehouses in general.
• Responds to data issues reported by users; research and resolve issues in a timely fashion.

• Frequent sitting, occasional standing & walking, and lifting of 5-10 lbs.
• Mental requirements will be intense at times with involvement in many concurrent multi-faceted projects.
• Requires manual dexterity using fine hand manipulation to operate a computer keyboard or related equipment.
• Requires ability to see computer screen, monitoring equipment and reports.

• Technical programming skills demonstrated through prior IT experience.

This role focuses on the design, development, and implementation of information technology (IT) solutions in order to meet the organization's needs through new and existing applications, systems architecture, network systems and applications infrastructure and the management of the IT infrastructure.
