Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with ARRT(N) or NMTCB certification, BLS, and experience with GE SPECT/CT equipment for a diagnostic imaging role.
Responsibilities- Position is full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm
- Diagnostic nuclear medicine imaging only, no nuclear medicine therapy procedures
- Utilizes GE Healthcare NM/CT 600 or 800 Series SPECT/CT and Xeleris 4 Workstation
- Patient data is documented using Epic EMR and Nuctrac systems
- Requires IV placement skills
- Main duties include performing high-quality diagnostic nuclear medicine imaging and IV placement
- Testing on telemetry/ECG and medication administration may be required at some campuses
- Returning employees/travelers must comply with a 6-month break policy before rejoining
- Parking at some locations may incur a daily fee
- Personal protective equipment and scrubs information will be provided upon orientation
- Active ARRT(N) or NMTCB certification required
- Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association required
- Must have MA state license if applicable (License required if applicable)
- Experience using GE NM/CT SPECT/CT systems and Xeleris 4 Workstation
- Prior experience documenting in Epic EMR and Nuctrac preferred
- 50-mile radius rule applies; no local candidates unless otherwise approved
- Must have been separated from prior employment at the facility for at least 6 months
- COVID vaccine with booster and Influenza vaccine required (medical exemptions allowed)
