Key Responsibilities of the Nuclear Medicine Technologist:

Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures

Perform nuclear medicine imaging studies, including PET, SPECT, and general nuclear scans

Monitor patients during procedures for safety and comfort

Operate and maintain imaging equipment according to quality and safety standards

Accurately document procedures, patient information, and imaging results

Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to ensure timely and accurate diagnoses

Adhere to radiation safety protocols and regulatory compliance

Requirements:

Active Nuclear Medicine Technologist license in Massachusetts (or eligibility to obtain)

ARRT(N) or NMTCB certification required

Minimum of 1 year of recent nuclear medicine experience preferred

Current BLS certification

Strong technical skills and attention to patient care
