- Healthcare Setting: Nursing Float Pool – Medical/Surgical Telemetry
- Contract Type: Travel RN contract
- Start Date: February 16, 2026
- End Date: April 13, 2026
- Duration: 8 weeks
- Hours per Week: 36
- Shift: 12-hour rotating shifts (days/nights: 7a-7:30p & 7p-7:30a), rotating in 4-week blocks
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend (days: Sat/Sun; nights: Fri/Sat/Sun)
- Guaranteed Hours: 72 hours biweekly
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Massachusetts nursing jobs
- Minimum 2 years of recent Medical/Surgical Telemetry experience
- Epic EMR experience required
- BLS certification (AHA) required
- ACLS (AHA) and NIHSS preferred
- Level 1 trauma experience preferred; required if no prior travel RN experience
- Must be separated from Beth Israel Lahey Health for at least 6 months
- Ability to pass day-one clinical testing (Relias practice tests available)
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the Medical/Surgical Telemetry Float Pool
- Float to ED holds, inpatient holds, PACU, and other boarding units as needed
- Maintain patient ratios between 1:3-5
- Adapt to rotating shifts and weekend requirements
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Document patient care accurately using Epic EMR
- Participate in ongoing education and pass required clinical assessments
