* Job Duties:

*** Utilizing engineering background, provide pre-sales and/or post-sales technical customer support including implementation, training, and maintenance support for Electronic Design Automation (EDA) and semiconductor intellectual property (IP).
* Utilize graduate-level research and analysis skills to provide expert level technical support to customers and field personnel in Cadence Genus, Innovus, and Modus products which are key components of the RTL to GDS flow.
* Conduct root cause analysis and provide resolution to customers’ technical issues, and provide feedback to the Research and Development (R&D) team on any bugs and enhancements in the Cadence tools.
* Contribute additions to the company’s corporate knowledge database (KDB) used to help solve customer problems.
* Deliver formal technical update training for other team members, engineers, and customers.
* Develop custom flows in the digital platform for our customer base.
* Proliferate and expand Cadence product portfolio for our customers by running evaluations and benchmarks using the customers’ design processes.
* Some telecommuting permitted.
* Must be available to work on projects at various, unanticipated sites throughout the United States.

* Qualifications:

*** Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
* Utilize industry standard synthesis tool to synthesize RTL to gates
* Industry standard Place and Route tool Innovus
* Unified memory controller and Double Data Rate (DDR) memory - architecture and protocols
* Perform Clock Domain Crossing (CDC) analysis, and Verilog lint checking and rewriting
* Scripting, programming and Design for Test (DFT) in ASIC flow
* Run designs from RTL coding to GDSII via synthesis and Place and Route and debug errors
* Must be available to work on projects at various, unanticipated sites throughout the United States.

The annual salary range for Massachusetts is $119,392 to $171,600. You may also be eligible to receive incentive compensation: bonus, equity, and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation may vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
