Akkodis is seeking a Product Analysis Engineer for a Contract position with a client in Burlington, MA
.

Rate: $42–$45 per hour (negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors).

Responsibilities
  • Perform failure analysis on explanted biomedical implant products to identify root‑cause failure mechanisms.
  • Develop and implement investigative protocols, applying theoretical principles and analytical techniques for circuit and component‑level analysis.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including Product Development, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Product Surveillance to resolve complex issues.
  • Prepare detailed technical documentation, including test reports, analysis summaries, and quality compliance records.
  • Support definition and maintenance of test equipment required for quality responsibilities and ensure compliance with FDA and regulatory standards.
  • Mentor and assist less experienced lab staff in solving complex problems and improving failure analysis processes.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical or Biomedical preferred).
  • Entry‑level or 1–2 years of engineering work experience (failure analysis experience preferred).
  • Strong ability to perform failure analysis and root‑cause investigations on biomedical implant products.
  • Proficiency in circuit analysis and technical documentation, with excellent organizational and communication skills.
