Fusion Academy – Burlington is seeking a part‑time STEM Teacher to join our innovative, student‑centered community. In this role, you’ll create a supportive learning environment that nurtures curiosity, confidence, and critical thinking. Our teachers tailor instruction to each learner’s academic and emotional needs through Fusion’s signature one‑to‑one teaching model.

You will teach gaming, coding, engineering, and physical science, inspiring students to explore STEM concepts with independence, creativity, and enthusiasm. This is a part‑time position with the potential to grow into a full‑time role based on student enrollment.

$28.50 per hour USD

• Provide a one‑to‑one teaching experience in Gaming, Coding, Engineering, Physical Science, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics for grades 6‑12.
• Show evidence of adapting and differentiating instruction for all students.
• Maintain complete and accurate student and trigger
• Develop and maintain genuine, positive, and consistent parent and teacher communication.
• Contribute to and benefit from the campus community.
• Engage in ongoing professional development, reflection, and continuous improvement to practice professionalism.
• Provide significant student mentoring in addition to subject‑matter tutoring.
• Other duties as assigned (e.g., tutor part‑time students).

• Bachelor’s degree is required; a higher level science background preferred.
• Strong subject‑matter knowledge in Gaming, Coding, Engineering, Physical Science, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics for grades 6‑12.
• Teaching credentials are a plus but not mandatory.
• Experience with students with learning differences and ADHD, and mentoring experience, is a plus.
• Outgoing, well‑organized, competent with basic computer skills, and eager to work in a dynamic, energetic school(identity) setting.
• Prepared to teach and tutor high‑school‑level material iet immediately.
