About Our Purchasing DepartmentThe Purchasing team at RMS plays a critical role in bringing our products to life. We manage global supplier relationships, oversee purchase orders, track production timelines, and ensure high-quality, on-time product delivery.
As part of Purchasing, you’ll collaborate across Sales, Studio, and Product teams and engage with international factories. You’ll gain hands‑on experience in toy innovation, supply chain operations, and cross‑functional project execution — all while helping shape the future of play.
Open Roles:Associate Buyer, Assistant Buyer, Buyer
We are hiring for three levels of purchasing talent
. Applicants should apply for the role that best matches their experience — one role per application.
- Associate Buyer – Entry Level (0–1 yr) – The starting point for your purchasing career — no experience required. You’ll place and manage purchase orders under guidance, track samples, assist with inventory organization, and support the team in day‑to‑day operations.
- Assistant Buyer (1–3 yrs) – Building on the Associate Buyer foundation, you’ll manage purchase orders more independently, review and approve samples and artwork, maintain organized documentation, track vendor communications, and support cross‑functional projects.
- Buyer (3+ yrs) – Owning category‑level purchasing, you’ll negotiate pricing and terms, review and approve samples, track production timelines, and partner with internal teams and international factories (1 trip/year to China/Hong Kong). Advanced Excel and analytical skills, plus an active passport, are required.
