RCF Supervisor​/Med Manager

Overview

This role is an administrative leadership position in a Residential Care Facility (RCF) setting, providing services for people with mental illness and other disabilities. The RCF offers residents the opportunity to live and receive support in a respectful, choice‑oriented environment.

• Create and maintain a strong team culture focused on resident empowerment and individual achievement.
• Lead the Direct Support Professional team
  , ensuring staffing patterns comply with Department of Inspections and Appeals (DIA) regulations.
• Collaborate with recruitment, training, and strategic teams to hire, train, and coach staff and promote local community partnerships.
• Schedule and monitor vehicle usage, medication check‑ins, and appointment follow‑up for residents while supporting their Representative Payee coordinators.
• Conduct monthly team meetings and provide coaching opportunities to strengthen staff performance and culture.
• Be present on‑call as required
  , receiving stipends and mileage reimbursement per department guidelines.
• Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, investigations, and service records in compliance with all governing policies and laws.
• Advocate for residents’ control over their lives while treating all individuals with respect and empowerment.

• Mission‑oriented and age 18+ with a high school diploma/GED.
• Driver’s license with reliable transportation and proof of liability coverage ($100,000/$300,000/$50,000).
• Iowa Medication Manager Certification or ability to obtain certification

• Strong communication skills, adaptability, confidence, and a learning attitude
