Medical Surgical​/Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

• Must have at least 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.

• Experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Iowa license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program:
Great River Health System (Direct) Program - Main.

Additional Details:

Required Credentials: Traveler will be responsible for self-studying telemetry strips upon acceptance and a basic dysrhythmia test out will be given first week of assignment. This must be passed in order to work on our telemetry/med surg unit.  Government-Issued  .

Shift & Scheduling: On call:
No. With the possibility of overtime. Required every other weekend rotation.

Floating Requirements: Floating is a requirement in ACU is always required for any non-critical care inpatient units including to the Emergency Department if there are boarded patients. If the traveler has critical care experience, we have occasionally floated them to CCU.

7 days maximum time off

1 reference from any number of months (Charge/Lead reference type) - required for submission

1 reference from any number of months (Manager/Supervisor reference type) - required for submission
