Security Professional - Halton Region Schools

The successful candidate will be the uniformed security presence in a number of selected secondary schools in the Halton Region of Ontario (Milton, Burlington, Oakville).

This is an exciting and rewarding opportunity for mature professionals to work as an integral part of the administration team, assisting with the safety and security of staff and students.

As a school security guard you will be responsible for overseeing the well-being of students by ensuring their adherence to school dress and deportment policies.

By providing a physical presence patrolling the school grounds, you’ll respond to emergency situations, identify hazards, provide access control, monitor and control vehicle traffic, and support school staff as required.

You are personable, professional, articulate, with a high degree of proficiency in English. You will be able to maintain a calm demeanour when working in a fast-paced and potentially stressful situation.
