The Office Assistant Volunteer plays a vital role in ensuring our after-school one-on-one tutoring programs run smoothly. This is a front-facing position where you’ll be welcoming families, assisting students as they transition to and from their sessions, and providing light supervision as needed.
Responsibilities- Greet families and answer the door as they arrive
- Direct students to their assigned classrooms and tutors
- Guide parents to the waiting area if they choose to stay onsite
- Provide light supervision while students wait to be picked up after their sessions
- Support the overall flow of the tutoring space to ensure a safe, welcoming environment
- Friendly, approachable, and confident in welcoming families
- Strong communication skills
- Reliable and punctual
- Comfortable interacting with children, parents, and staff
- Organized and proactive in offering assistance
Your presence helps create a safe, organized, and welcoming environment for families and students. By supporting with logistics and supervision, you enable our facilitators and tutors to focus fully on providing quality educational support—making you an essential part of the team.
Requirements- 18+ years old
- Reference check
- Police Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) required
