Materials Manager - Rigid Plastic Packaging

Play a vital role in aligning materials management with business success in a fast‑paced, collaborative manufacturing environment.

Location: The role would require 100% onsite presence.

• Lead and develop the Materials Team, fostering engagement, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with site leadership and cross‑functional teams to support production priorities and business goals.
• Analyze demand trends for strategic planning and inventory management.
• Champion the implementation of new systems and tools (e.g., SAP, internal planning tools). Report on KPIs and drive actions based on data and root‑cause analysis.
• Maintain effective supplier relationships and drive supplier performance.
• Participate in audits and ensure best practices in quality, safety, and environmental standards.

• A minimum of 10 years’ related experience in materials management, production planning, or supply chain leadership within a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated experience supervising and developing teams.
• Strong proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Advanced problem‑solving abilities and a continuous improvement mindset.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to collaborate across all organizational levels.
• Experience with project management and implementation of new technologies or processes. Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to drive decision‑making.
• Proven track record in managing supplier relationships, inventory control, and compliance with quality, safety, and environmental policies.
