310T Mechanic

• Conduct scheduled maintenance service and provide recommendations on current and future required repairs
• Perform preventive and scheduled maintenance on Truck and Trailers
• Diagnose mechanical issues, and perform Trucks and Trailers repairs
• Examine and test mechanical units, such as engines, transmissions, brake systems, wheels, steering mechanics, etc.
• Determine parts/materials needed for repairs. Identify equipment, and supplies to be used; transfer equipment from one project to another, as necessary
• Make recommendations related to the purchasing of necessary equipment and supplies for projects and repairs
• Construct mechanical equipment as required
• Ensure proper handling and storage of tools and equipment. Achieve general housekeeping duties
• Perform road test vehicles as necessary to ensure the vehicle is working properly
• Ensure work orders are completed properly, accurately and meet deadlines. Keep a clear communication with customers regarding work progress
• Ensure all job duties are carried out according to Health and Safety policies and have safety awareness regarding other team members
• Keep technical knowledge up to date
• Other responsibilities assigned by Fleet Manager

• Work with other mechanics to contribute to positive work environment
• Provide training and coaching on a regular basis
• Assist with establishing goals and standards of performance of each team member

• 3+ years experience as 310T Mechanic
• Licensed Mechanic 310T Truck and Coach Technician
• Valid Drivers Licensed
• Proficiency in all Office Software
