About the Role:

We’re seeking a dedicated inpatient physical therapist to join our team of highly skilled professionals. Our therapists specialize in treating patients with acute neurological, orthopedic, cardiac, and multi-system conditions across the acute care continuum.

Acute care presents unique challenges as patients are often medically complex, with rapidly changing conditions that require quick clinical decision-making, strong communication skills, and adaptability. Therapists must balance early mobilization with medical stability, navigate discharge planning, and collaborate closely with the medical team to ensure safe, effective, and timely care.  You’ll work side-by-side with a multidisciplinary team to deliver coordinated, evidence-based, and patient-centered care that makes a meaningful difference in patients’ recovery and outcomes.

Whether you’re a new graduate or an experienced clinician, you’ll find a supportive team and a culture that encourages growth, innovation, and excellence.

As a nationally recognized Level 1 teaching hospital, Lahey fosters a culture of continuous learning and interdisciplinary collaboration. Our inpatient physical therapy department plays a critical role in helping patients recover from complex medical events. Through close coordination with the medical team, we develop effective discharge plans that support patients in returning to their highest level of function.
