- Pay Rate: $115k/year.

- Leading business development efforts by identifying new projects and client opportunities.
- Preparing proposals and contributing to the growth of the firm's technical practice.
- Conducting investigations and preparing detailed technical reports for parking garages, roofing, building envelopes, leakage, and overall building condition assessments.
- Developing specifications and managing the tendering process for projects.
- Overseeing projects from investigation and specification stages through construction, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.
- Monitoring project finances, ensuring accurate invoicing, and maintaining the financial health of projects.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships to enhance satisfaction and repeat business.
- Traveling to project sites across southwestern Ontario, with mileage reimbursed.
- Mentoring and supporting junior staff in technical practices and project execution.
- Performing other duties as assigned to support business operations and project success.
- Legal eligibility to work and reside in Canada.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Architectural Engineering, specializing in Building Science or Structural Restoration.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a consultant in building science and restoration engineering.
- At least 2 years of project management experience within a building science consulting firm.
- Professional designation (Eng. or P.Eng. pending) is an asset, but not required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including technical writing and presentations.
- Strong multitasking, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- A collaborative, team-oriented approach with adaptability to changing priorities.
- Experience with energy modelling (considered an asset).
- Comfort with heights, as some project work will be on elevated structures.
- Valid Class G driver's license and daily access to a vehicle.
