A leading manufacturing company is seeking a talented and driven Manufacturing Engineer to join our growing team. Responsibilities Develop and maintain efficient manufacturing processes and procedures.
Streamline manufacturing operations
Liaise with vendors to resolve issues.
Ensure efficiency of all labor and meeting on hour standards for tasks.
Lead cross-functional teams in the design and development of new products and processes.
Manage and support the implementation of new equipment and technology to enhance manufacturing efficiency.
Collaborate with quality control, engineering, and other departments to ensure that products meet quality and safety standards.
Provide technical support and troubleshoot manufacturing issues.
Conduct cost analysis and make recommendations for cost savings and process improvements.
Prepare technical reports, presentations, and documentation to communicate findings and progress.
Mentor and train junior team members to develop their skills and knowledge.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering.
Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in using computer-aided design (CAD) software and other relevant tools.
Must be able to travel between the US and Canada and have a valid passport
Must be able to undertake a manufacturing startup, including layout, equipment needs, power requirements and processes.
Must be able to read engineering drawings, review all mathematical calculations for accuracy and adherence to order specifications
Must be able to cross
-border into the US
Should have experience in truck/trailer business from a manufacturing standpoint
