Accounting Manager

Our client is a growing Private Equity company based out of Burlington and they are looking to add an Accounting Manager to their team on a full-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for you to springboard into industry and land your first good role with great mentors.

*** This requires you to work 5 days per week in office with very manageable hours

As the Accounting Manager, you are responsible for Manage the day-to-day accounting functions for corporate entities, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with internal standards.

Oversee and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and transaction classifications to maintain clean and organized financial records

Coordinate corporate tax filings and regulatory submissions, including but not limited to T5s, HST, and EHT returns

Act as a key liaison between internal teams and external partners such as auditors, accountants, and tax advisors

Support the year-end close process including financial statements and audit deliverables

To be considered for this role, our client is looking for someone with the following skills/qualifications;

CPA with 5+ years of experience

Ability to get into the office 5 days per week

Detailed oriented, strong communication skills and a go getter
