Data Analyst

This opportunity is for a Data Analyst supporting a Trading Analytics team in a fast-moving environment focused on real-time data, reporting, and business insight.

This role centers on building, maintaining, and improving dashboards, datasets, and reporting tools that support decision-making across trading, product, engineering, and leadership teams. The position also serves as a key point of ownership for the BI reporting environment, helping ensure reliable, scalable, and accessible insights across the organization.

• Own and manage the full lifecycle of dashboards and reporting assets, including design, development, documentation, and user access
• Partner with stakeholders across Trading, Product, and Engineering to define and deliver KPIs, metrics, and data visualizations
• Build and maintain SQL-based datasets and derived tables that support reporting tools
• Develop and maintain analyses focused on trading performance, pricing accuracy, and KPI reporting
• Monitor the health and quality of data assets across pipelines and reporting layers
• Support internal users in interpreting data, enabling self-service insights, and creating lightweight reporting assets
• Perform QA on datasets, validate dashboard accuracy, and respond to ad hoc analytical requests
• Identify opportunities for standardization, automation, and improved reporting workflows
• Monitor report usage and contribute to BI governance and reporting best practices

• Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field
• 2–3 years of experience in a BI, analytics, or data analyst role
• Strong SQL skills, preferably with MySQL or Athena/Trino
• Experience building and maintaining dashboards in Superset or similar BI platforms such as Tableau, Looker, or Power BI
• Experience using Python for data analysis, QA automation, and lightweight applications such as Streamlit or Dash
• Experience working in cloud data environments, preferably AWS
• Experience with Git and familiarity with Git-based workflows
• Strong analytical thinking and the ability to communicate insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

• Experience working with sports, trading, or fintech data environments
• Exposure to real-time or streaming data tools such as Kafka
• Familiarity with OLAP systems and dimensional modeling
• Experience working cross-functionally with data engineers, product managers, and end users

This role offers base pay starting at $115,000 per year
