Guided by a world-renowned Scientific Advisory Council that includes four Nobel laureates and 35 members of the National Academy of Sciences, CRI has invested over $517 million in support of research conducted by immunologists and tumor immunologists at the world's leading medical centers and universities and has contributed to many of the key scientific advances that demonstrate the potential for immunotherapy to change the face of cancer treatment.

We are seeking a mission-driven Salesforce Administrator to support our organization’s implementation and ongoing management of Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud (NPC). This role will be essential to ensuring a smooth launch and successful adoption across teams. The Salesforce Administrator will configure and maintain Salesforce, develop reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights, and support the integration of Salesforce to other tools. Partnering closely with fundraising, marketing and finance staff, this position will help streamline key development processes, ensuring Salesforce serves as a trusted source of truth for fundraising, donor engagement, and financial data.

The ideal candidate combines strong Salesforce technical skills with a deep understanding of nonprofit fundraising operations and leverages AI-enabled features and automation to help teams work smarter and strengthen relationships with donors and partners.

Responsibilities:
System Administration & Configuration
  • Manage daily administration of Salesforce: user setup, roles, permissions, and data security.
  • Configure custom objects, fields, page layouts, record types, flows, and validation rules.
  • Implement and optimize Nonprofit Cloud (NPC) features for fundraising and donor management.
  • Maintain sandbox and development environments, supporting testing and deployment of new functionality.
Reporting & Insights
  • Build and maintain reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights for fundraising, donor stewardship, and program delivery.
  • Partner with leadership to define key metrics and KPIs for tracking organizational performance.
  • Leverage Salesforce Einstein AI and other AI tools to surface trends, donor engagement opportunities, and predictive insights.
  • Ensure staff can “live in Salesforce” by developing intuitive dashboards that reduce the need for external spreadsheets.
Integrations & Data Management
  • Connect Salesforce to other nonprofit tools (e.g., Go Fund Me  Pro, Sage Intacct, marketing automation tools) to streamline operations.
  • Manage data integrity with regular audits, deduplication, and validation processes.
  • Support AI-based integrations and automation for smoother workflows.
  • Explore and implement AI-enabled integrations to improve donor engagement and operational efficiency.
Development Operations & Process Improvement
  • Oversee core development processes, including gift entry, acknowledgment letters, and tribute management.
  • Partner with individual giving, major gifts, and marketing teams to optimize workflows for donor cultivation and stewardship.
  • Ensure prospect management and pipeline tracking are accurate and actionable.
  • Identify opportunities to automate recurring fundraising tasks using Salesforce and AI tools.
  • Document and standardize processes across fundraising, finance, and communications teams.
Stakeholder Support & Training
  • Act as the primary point of contact for Salesforce support and troubleshooting.
  • Provide training, resources, and documentation to empower staff and ensure Salesforce adoption.
  • Translate program and fundraising needs into technical requirements and practical solutions.
Requirements:
  • 4+ years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator.
  • Hands‑on experience with NPC in a nonprofit environment.
