** Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

Key Responsibilities
* ** Functional Treatment:
** Deliver skilled occupational therapy interventions as directed by the supervising Occupational Therapist (OTR) to improve residents' independence in ADLs.
* ** Clinical Documentation:
** Maintain accurate daily treatment notes and progress reports in accordance with state board standards.
* ** Interdisciplinary

Collaboration:

** Work closely with nursing and the broader rehab team to ensure holistic care and successful resident outcomes.
* ** Patient & Family

Education:

** Instruct residents and caregivers on the use of adaptive equipment and home modification strategies to facilitate safe discharge planning.
* ** Team Support:
** Participate in care conferences and communicate effectively with the healthcare team regarding patient progress and goals.
* ** Environment Safety:
** Ensure therapy areas are clean, safe, and well-maintained for our residents.

Qualifications
* Current, valid
** Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) License
** in the state of California.
* A positive, team-oriented attitude and a passion for geriatric and short-term rehabilitation.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships with residents and families.
