Summer Bear Camp Lead Teacher Opportunity
We are excited to invite passionate and dedicated educators to apply for the role of Lead Teacher for our Summer Bear Camp, a dynamic and enriching program designed for incoming 3rd and 4th‑grade boys and girls.
Summer Bear Camp offers students a hands‑on learning experience that blends musical theatre, visual art, and American Sign Language, all taught by specialist instructors. The Lead Teacher plays a key role in fostering a supportive, organized, and engaging environment focusing on reading and math skills, where students can explore creativity, collaboration, and confidence. The Lead Teacher is responsible for developing a daily schedule and leading the math and English instruction and supporting the transitions to the speciality teachers.
Dates & Schedule
Monday, June 15 – Thursday, July 2
8:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
- Valid teaching credential
- Experience teaching at the elementary level
- Strong classroom leadership and a love of working with children
