Description

Robert Half is partnering with a modern, fast-growing venture capital firm in Burlingame, CA to identify a highly organized and proactive Office Manager. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and enjoys supporting a collaborative team of investment professionals and executives.

The Office Manager will be responsible for overseeing daily office operations, maintaining an efficient workplace environment, and supporting administrative functions that keep the firm running smoothly. This position requires excellent organizational skills, strong communication, and the ability to anticipate needs in a dynamic business setting.

Key Responsibilities

+ Manage day-to-day office operations, ensuring a well-organized, efficient, and professional work environment

+ Coordinate office logistics including vendor relationships, supplies, equipment, and facilities management

+ Support leadership and investment teams with scheduling, meeting coordination, travel arrangements, and administrative tasks

+ Organize internal meetings, investor events, and team gatherings including logistics, catering, and materials preparation

+ Maintain office budgets, process invoices, and coordinate with accounting teams as needed

+ Manage incoming mail, shipments, and general office communications

+ Assist with onboarding new employees, including workspace setup and office orientation

+ Maintain office policies, procedures, and operational documentation

Requirements

Qualifications

+ 3+ years of experience in office management, workplace operations, or administrative leadership

+ Experience supporting professional services environments such as venture capital, finance, consulting, or technology strongly preferred

+ Excellent organizational and time-management skills with strong attention to detail

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and common workplace tools (Slack, Zoom, etc.)

+ Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-service mindset

+ Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
