Job DescriptionAre you a safety-focused plant operator who takes pride in keeping operations running smoothly, efficiently and safely? If so, this is an exciting opportunity to join our operations team as an Operator C at our Burley, Idaho facility!

- Operate the facility in accordance with company policies, operating procedures, and all applicable OSHA, EPA, DOT and environmental regulations
- Load and unload trucks and railcars safely and efficiently
- Monitor, read and record process instrumentation and collect product samples to ensure quality standards are met
- Troubleshoot process and equipment irregularities, and recommend operational adjustments as needed
- Perform routine inspections of vessels, piping, valves and equipment to prevent failures or unsafe conditions
- Participate actively in plant safety programs, including safety meetings, inspections and hazard reporting
- Support maintenance activities, including turnarounds, lockout/tagout, confined space entries and equipment preparation
- Assist with emergency response activities and facility/, including P& and system testing
- Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment across all plant areas
- Support updates to operating procedures, labeling, valve tagging and safety signage
- Work extended hours, holidays, weekends and overtime, and be available for call‑outs as required
- High school diploma or GED
- HAZWOPER Technician‑level certification (required)
- Strong mechanical aptitude and technical understanding of industrial equipment and processes
- Working knowledge of pumps, compressors, heat exchangers, piping systems, valves and basic chemistry
- Ability to follow operating procedures, safety programs and emergency response plans consistently
- Experience operating motorized equipment such as forklifts, skid steers, tractors or similar plant vehicles
- Basic computer skills and the ability to document readings, reports and operational data
- Strong communication skills and a professional, team‑oriented mindset
- Willingness to complete and pass all required training, written exams and practical evaluations übernimmt
Work Environment Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally exert higher force using mechanical devices
- Comfortable climbing ladders, stairways and working at heights
- Ability to work in confined spaces and wear required PPE for extended periods
- Medically cleared and fit‑tested to wear full‑face respirators and SCBA when required
- Able to work indoors and outdoors in extreme noise and weather conditions
